Murex Resort Manado is an intimate beachfront hotel and dive center located on a scenic beach on the northwestern corner of Indonesia’s North Sulawesi Island. The property's air-conditioned guest cottages sit in lush gardens feature lily ponds, spring-fed streams, fruit trees, palms and tropical flowers. An ocean-view restaurant includes an outdoor dining area where guests enjoy buffet-style meals that combine a mix of International and Asian dishes made from fresh local ingredients. There is an ocean-view infinity pool, seafront gazebo, WiFi in public areas and a Nature Spa. The dive center stocks a range of rental equipment, offers nitrox and can provide a range of PADI courses. A fleet of seven custom-built dive boats run daily two or three-dive trips to Bunaken Marine Park, which is known for vibrant coral growth and dramatic walls. Guests also have day and night access to the resort's house reef, which is considered an excellent macro and muck diving venue.
